Anyway, after clearing out the space where we had thought to put the bath, it now appears too small, but I’m not sure. The measurements are 47″ by 43″. That is SMALL! Just playing around I couldn’t see how it is going to work…

I need help deciding what material I want for a tub surround. Right now it’s one of the cheap 4 piece units that the previous owners installed. I want a solid surface material that is non-porous like corian or granite, I think…..I also want a window installed in the tub. I’m having a hard time finding places locally that carry what I think I want. The country well water is not the best which is why I’m thinking solid surface. I’ve never done a bathroom remodel before, so I’m lost. I’m going to get some estimates but want to do my homework first so I don’t look like a dumb female.
